Currently this song is very relevant to my personal life... I had lost my job, and my gf left me, I had lost all hope... but then, just yesterday, one of the companies I sent my CV to (an Italian company) actually said I can start from next Monday, I am happier than ever :D I was hoping they would hire me, I applied to many companies, but the Italian one seemed the best by far, and they have hired me, hope paid off :D My gf has lost all hope (similarly to me before, she is looking for work too, except in her case her visa depends on it, so if she doesn't get a job within the next few weeks she will be deported)... I am trying to give her some hope, and help her, she is rejecting all help I give her, but I will still help anyway... I am sure she will feel better if she has a job, so despite what she says, I will help her anyway

We can live in the present-future. I know it.

Superb! I bought this album when it first came out back in the 70s. Klaatu is a very underrated band. I fell in love with the song Little Neutrino from the earlier album.

Talk about underrated- every incarnation of Dexys from the beginning. Kudos always to the genuine, uncompromising Kevin Rowland.

The Pretenders are one of my favorite bands of all time. And Chrissy Hynde has one of the most iconic and unique female rock voices ever, like Stevie Nicks and very few others.

I was in a shop in Geneva, IL. This song came on the sound system. I loved it. I asked the store person who this was singing. Patty Griffin. 10,000 Kisses. And, I'm like "damn, I have to buy this CD!" Many cd's later, and many live concerts, still love this song like the first time.
